My goal that I am
currently in progress of achieving is becoming an elementary school
teacher
I am majoring in interdisciplinary studies
and my concentration is generalist early childhood through sixth
grade. I really enjoy working with children. I have worked in
several daycare centers and learning environments that have
helped me gain a lot of experience with working with
children.
At this time I’m currently undecided in what particular
grade level that I want to work with. I am looking into second grade and sixth
grade for my two choices so far.
My family consist of a number
of educators and I feel as though becoming a educator is not only my
goal but it’s all so my passion. I have also had great amount of past teachers
in my life that has helped distinguish how a great role model and educator
should carry themselves.
Why 2nd and 6th? They seem so different in terms of developmental stages!
ReplyDeleteI choice second grade be cause of the ability to teach a child at a young age to help them learn and grasp information early on in school. Then again I want sixth grade because the children will becoming mature and they are just needing to maintain gaudiness in order to remember and review information that they should have already learned.
ReplyDeleteDid you have a second or sixth grade teacher that was particularly important to you?
